I'm still seeing my general practicitioner, but I think I need to see a specialist. He was fine with the 3.5 and even the 5.5 TSH but I've read that closer to 1 is better.

Definitely go see an endocrinologist.

Are you on any other kinds of medications? The combo of meds could do it. I know that lots of anxiety meds can cause that type of issue.
