Finished Game of Thrones last month and loved it, so I went out and bought Clash of Kings, which I'm currently working on. So far, I don't love it, but I'll finish it and then make a decision about the 3rd one.

I'm also reading The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey. It's kind of a horror Stephen King/Mary Shelley type young adult novel. I believe it's the first of a trilogy. Really good so far!

Finished: When Elves Attack (rather raunchy and druggie, consider this a warning for those for whom raunchy and druggie is not their bag).

Starting: The Christmas Train by David Baldacci

Here's my up to date list:
http://www.goodreads.com/review/list...sort=date_read

Notably, I read: A Thousand Lives: The Untold Story of Hope, Deception, and Survival at Jonestown. It was an excellent book but deeply disturbing. There was plenty of signs Jim Jones was a wacko with a murderous God complex, yet nearly a thousand people followed him to South America and their eventual deaths.

On a more cheerful note, I liked The Last Blind Date. It was charming.

http://www.goodreads.com/review/list...ead&sort=title Here's my Goodreads profile, just recently updated it![/url]

I just finished One Day, it was such a wonderful book I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a good romance novel. I'm currently reading Slaughterhouse-Five, got a pile of books I need to get through!

I'm reading A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin.

I loved Game of Thrones and read it super fast. It took me a while to get through A Clash of Kings. I'm hoping that this one grabs me like Book 1 did.

I'm reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, it's the first book in The Kingkiller series, and I have a tough time putting it down. I actually have to hide it to make sure I get in my crocheting time, to be sure the blanket I am making is done by Christmas.

I'm reading A Dog Named Slugger which is about a service dog to a girl with cerebral palsy. It seems to be a fast read. Good, but not the greatest thing I've read. I can't wait for DH to finish the Steve Jobs bio so I can read it.

This sounds good! I've added it to my list.
