Default Books - Motivational

Hi all,

Just wanted to share a couple of books and an audiobook from iTunes that I found great and motivational since they share one person's story and struggles towards weight loss.

"Half-Assed: A Weight-Loss Memoir" by Jennette Fulda
------ About a woman that tipped the scales at 372 pounds before losing almost 200 pounds through diet and exercise.

"Secrets Of A Former Fat Girl" by Lisa Delaney
-------About a woman that was 185 pounds and lost 70lb. She has also held positions at Health Magazine, Cooking Light and Prevention magazines, and has written for titles such as Vogue, Men's Health, Runners World, Men's Journal, and Readers' Digest.

"Such a Pretty Fat: One Narcissist's Quest to Discover If Her Life Makes Her *** Look Big, or Why Pie Is Not the Answer"
by Jen Lancaster
-------AudioBook - I am still listening to it so can't review it yet ;-)

......

If you have read anything inspirational, can you please share?

Not about weight loss, but about running- I think it's seriously inspirational/motivational for runners. Born to Run by Christopher McDougall.

I read Half-Assed a long time ago and really loved it. I'll check out some of your other suggestions. Thanks!

I'm reading 'Such a Pretty Fat' now - I got it 50% off at Border's just yesterday I love her writing style and I can identify with her a bit! Not that I ever thought I looked great at size 24 (which was her starting size too) but a lot of her attitudes about food are very relevant to me.
