I am so scared right now.. my parents are flying from Singapore to Vegas today.. they were supposed to get into Narita at 2:40 and the quake struck at 2:46... haven't heard anything from them yet so beyond terrified. Praying for everyone who has been affected.. what a devastating tragedy...

I live in hawaii and there's a tsunami warning going on here because of the japan earthquake. state is in a panic. water is sold out already, gas stations are ridiculous.

No seismic activity or tsunamis here. I am safe.

My TV is broken so this is all news to me. I feel sick seeing the coverage and I can't get in touch with a lot of my friends because phone networks are clogged.

I am thinking all the best and wishing safe returns for Chantelle's parents and everyone the world over.

It has already hit Hawaii and is expected to hit California in about an hour. We must keep in prayer for those who are so grievously affected.

I didn't find out about the earthquake until after I got to work this morning. I was immediately thinking of Krampus, too, unable to remember which other 3FC members live in the worst affected areas.
My thoughts and prayers are with everybody.

I'm definitely praying for the safety of the people in Japan. There's a lady I work with, her daughter is studying abroad in Japan. She was so scared earlier this morning, but thank goodness she got a call from her husband & she's fine.
