Default Boy oh boy - is Charlie Sheen aging fast.

Now, granted we all don't look like we did 10 years ago, but his life style is taking its toll on him. I watched the 20/20 special. The flash back pics of interviews after his rehab in 99 really shows the difference.

He is such a talented person and to see him self imploding is sad. I think this is a great opportunity to talk with kids and let them see his rantings and explain what drug abuse can do to you. My heart goes out to his family.

It's pathetic our society gives so much attention to these people when they are crashing and burning. It can't help the situation at all.

He had a clean drug test on the Today show. I doubt that this is "lifestyle" - he appears to be mentally ill (specifically, he's pretty obviously manic). Whether that mental illness resulted from years of drug abuse, or some other more organic process in his brain, we'll probably never know.

I consider it really horrible that the media is feeding his mania at this juncture with interviews and reporting. He needs help, not coverage.

His father Martin Sheen has tried to get him help. Charlie clearly needs it but rejects those who try to help him.

Well he is in his late 40s so I don't think its surprising that he would be rapidly aging. Obviously the dude is a little nutty and it's crazy how many people are feeding his ego and letting him think he is better than everyone else. He didn't even seem all that concerned when his kids got taken away. o.O

A 25 year habit of 2 packs of cigarettes a day will take its toll even if you live healthy otherwise. BTW he has already had plastic surgery and lipo.

I saw a timeline of his marriages, personal troubles and criminal behavior and I do see that his pattern of behavior is indicative of bipolar. It looks like he uber-parties (with alcohol) when he is manic, settles down and gets married when he is coming off of that, and then gets a little too down then divorce and resorts to violence and self medicating (partying with stimulants) to get back to the mania which he obviously enjoys.

Its hard to watch someone go thru this especially on national TV but he brought it on himself. Every appearance just fuels the mental illness/bipolar diagnosis.

I'm glad the kids are out of his house. It will be dangerous when he starts down.

You can't help someone who DOESN'T want to be helped.

Where was the lipo done? Beer belly area? I didn't know this, he always seems so skinny to me.

Isn't he only 45? Mid 40s!

He seems to be in the middle of some sort of manic episode. Sad and shocking, but a lot of people suffer from this.

same thing happened to Britney Spears. She's still a younger woman but she looks much older than she really is. Stress and lifestyle. Makes me sad.

OT: Glory87, your weight loss pictures are very inspirational to me.
I have just about the same journey ahead of me. GREAT JOB!!

"I'm bi-winning!" Winners don't age fast. Winners age winning. That's how winners win.

I remember when I was in HS he was SO pretty! The Major League era. All my friends were taken with him. But now look at him... He looks like Christian Bale in The machinist or Donny Walberg in the 6th sense. Even if it's not drugs, something is seriously wrong.... Maybe it's all the Tiger's Blood!

I think the funniest thing I've seen all day on the subject was this >>"Charlie Sheen looks like he’s wearing an old person mask and Jon Cryer is the poor man’s John Cusack."

I do love me some John Cusack...
