Hello,

I'm not sure where the appropriate place is for this post, but the more people who read it, the better.

My husband is a type 1 diabetic, and is in kidney failure. He will require a kidney transplant.

On facebook I have created a page for him. My intent is two fold: to raise awareness for organ donation, both as a living donor and deceased, and to find a kidney for my husband.

We are just starting the process of getting on lists and going through all the testing, so I don't have tons of information. I just figure that the more people who know about this only broadens the pool of potential donors. It also helps Erick's morale to know that people are concerned and care about him. It helps me, too.

Good thoughts and prayers are always welcome.
