High School reunion
My high school reunion is next year and I will be going at a much smaller weight God willing. I hope the reunion is in July so I can show off a much svelter figure. Anyone else having a high school reunion in 2010?
P.S. is there a college reunion and if so is it 5, 10, 15, or 20yrs?

Wow Ez. The years went by fast. I feel like I haven't accomplished much since I graduated. I got saddled with an illness which I nearly succumbed to and I am currently unemployed.

My brothers is next summer, and mine isn't until 2013, so I got plenty of time. But i'm also getting married sometime in 2011, so I'll have (hopefully) lost the weight by then.
it's a great motivation factor. every time you think about cheating on your diet, just think about your reunion!

30 year reunion in 2010. I've never been to one of mine, yet, but if I get to go next year, I WILL be much smaller than I was when I graduated!
I've never heard of any college reunions, though, but that may just be because of where I went. Don't know if any other college alums do them.

I don't think colleges have reuinions. It'd probably make more sense for departments to have reunions if anything unless you went to a small college.
Anyway, I've never been to any of my high school reunions. I really didn't see a point. If I haven't kept in contact with someone then why would I want to see them now?
And I weigh 100 lbs less than I did when I graduated from high school but it isn't like I care who knows.

My high school class never did a 5th reunion... and the 10th won't be for another 2 years... so we'll see if they do that. I can't imagine who would organize it.
My college has some sort of reunions during homecoming... maybe every 10 years? I've definitely seen them for 25 and 50 years. Maybe the individual schools within the college have their own - I'd definitely go to one of those.
The school I'm at now has a reunion weekend during the summer, every 5 year mark has a reunion, and they even house them on campus! They have all sorts of parties and free food and drinks and whatnot. (Ah, to have that Ivy League money...) It's an insane jumble of shuttle buses, and families wandering around looking lost, and next year I plan to stay away as much as possible that weekend.
