"Tough Love 2"
Stupid show I got addicted to on Vh1 last year. This jerk of a guy, who (along with his mom) is a highly successful matchmaker, takes women who have problems finding and/or staying in relationships and helps them find their match. Not AS trashy as some of the "reality" shows...but it's a somewhat guilty pleasure.
Anyway, this season there's a girl on there who USED to be 220 pounds, grew up overweight, had no self-esteem, etc., until her 20s, when she lost it. She looks GOOD now, but has issues mentally accepting her new weight. In short, she has a lot of the same issues I've got (though I'm married), as far as the way she looks at herself. Her mind hasn't caught up to her body yet, so to speak
I'm not even very far into the first episode (it recorded over the weekend, I think) so I can't say much about her really...but so far she's totally got a chip on her shoulder. It'll be interesting to see what he tells her and what she gets out of it.
Anyone else watching?

Yep, I'm watching, because I feel like I need to be on this show. And the girl you're talking about Mindi, I see a lot of her traits in myself. I'm a hybrid of her, the super professional chick, and Ms. Party Girl...(don't ask me how that's possible)...but I see traits in myself that all three of them have.

I acutally like this show alot!! it helps other women to realize what is going on and hopefully change themselves for the better

Oh of COURSE they do....if they chose normal people like us, all we'd do is sit around, actually learn a lot from the experience and go away happy.
