I have always been heavy ~I came across these pics Today...I was in a pageant In the dress~All made up~LOL~Anyways~Nope I never placed.
But I had fun....Since I was a tomboy & My mom insisted~I answered the questions Like a TOMBOY would hahahaha! I was 16 in those 2 pics and the pics with my Then Boyfriend & now hubby I was 15.....We have been married Almost 17 years And I am gonna Be 34 December 6th ~MAN TIME FLYS!
Anyways Just wanted to share...These pics was the smallest I ever was(UNTIL NOW) And I was always 175 to 180 when I was that age...I wore 15/16's then~the dress was borrowed and a little big on me...But It Was beautiful. In my adult /Married life I have weighed Under 200 ~1 time (I was 178 For about 1 week) & quickly gained it back~but was taking diet pills......NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE DIET PILLS~I count calories & exercise now.
Anyways...........I am reaching a new Weight I am almost in the 160's!!!! I wear 8's & 9's Now And some 10's
I thought I would share my old pics to show I have always been a large girl....Hoping to Be a small lady on some bright Sunny day!! Or a cold dreary one. LOL

I LOVE your pics! I remember the big hair days. I have a pic of me on my blog with a David Bowie poster on the wall in the background, that shot makes me laugh (I was in my early 20s).

ah, fads....! I remember those jeans that had really tight legs came out when I was in college (not that great for a girl with a big derrier and hips, ha, but I wore them anyway)

I am so happy for you with the weight loss. that must be a wonderful feeling!

sodragonwoman64 ~yes Fads are something~I wanted a pair of those Overalls when they was in And I never found a pair that looked decent on me~Then when I Said heck with it I am gonna wear them anyways ~They became uncool~(COME ON IRENE?? Wonder if that song made those overalls popular? HAHAHA~hope not)

Oh, yeah, I remember the big hair days! Never had the courage to do the poofy bang thing, but it was sooo cool back then! Could do the Flock of Seagulls thing, though, with enough hair gel, but wouldn't leave the house with it like that-lol!

But, anyway, I was always fat, too. You look wonderful, now!! Keep up the great work!

LORI! My goodness. Look at you--you precious young thing. LOL--do you still have that dress? Maybe you could alter it into a sexy thing and wear it for hubby!

I am with you on the "tiny lady" thing--no matter the weather or anything else, I will take it!

Thank you for sharing those--wow, the hairstyle and dress brings back memories for me too. My hair was HUGE--remember I am a TEXAS girl--we know big hair. ****, we still know big hair. By the way, I noticed you said in your post the other day you have been married 17 years--me too!

I hated my wedding dress and my wedding. Hubby and I are going to renew vows at 20 years and I am totally having my dress redone to be incredible!

p.s. 160's!!!!!!!!!! OMGoodness!!!!!!!! You are cruising now! You are going to be absolutely amazed at how fast your clothing sizes drops from here out. I promise. BAM, BAM, BAM! It took me FOREVER to get out of 16-18! Once I got below a 12, the sizes were much quicker to lose.

Your hair is RAD! LOL. I was in high school in the 90s, and have some pretty awful pictures floating around of the biggest bangs in California. I will have to see if I can get them from my mom to share.
