  • I was just wondering for all the chicks out there who likes to have a drink once in a while and still trying to keep it as healthy as possible...
Whenever I go out or to some event I try have some wine, since I’ve heard it can be good for you (in moderated amounts). But I don’t really know about any that has low calories. So I just order whatever.
But during the summer, when it is nice and warm, nothing better than a cold beer.
I used to order Michelub Ultra with 94 cal. But now I heard about Genuine Miller with only 64 cal. That is the lowest cal drink I’ve heard of.
But I wonder if it is possible to go even lower than that...
It would be also nice to learn about any liquor drinks with low calories, if it exist...
Ok girls, let’s see if I can get some ideas to use this weekend
  • oh man i never really even thought about the calorie content. i usually get a vodka and cranberry- very good with mandarin flavored vodka and a wedge of lime.
  • Bacardi light has the lowest cals of liquour that I know of, try finding the stats on that one.
  • I usually do clear rum and coke Zero. But if i remember correctly, 1 shot of the clear Bicardi is still about 110 cals ... or maybe it was 90? Basically, it was up there with having a budlight. Clear liquors ... vodka or clear rum, with a no-cal mixer like diet soda or crystal light is what I usually do.

Oh and I read a glass of the light colored wine, like white zinfandel, is about 60 cals. I haven't found anything lower than that though. I would love some ideas too
  • An ounce of hard liquor is about 60-70 calories (so around 100 calories for a typical 1.5 ounce serving), so if you find something calorie-free to mix it with, it's not bad (ex. rum and diet coke, vodka and sprite zero, raspberry vodka and soda water).

While tonic water seems light because it doesn't have much flavor, it's 10 calories per ounce, or 80 calories per cup, which makes it pretty similar to sugar-sweetened sodas.
  • I don't drink very often, but love Margaritas when we do decide to have something - I now the calories must be high though and of course the salty rim doesn't help! LOL
  • I'm so glad someone posted this. i have been wondering the same thing. i love red wine and don't know how bad it is for my diet.
I am going to try to start buying some clear liquor and some low cal mixer in exchange for the fatty coronas that I drink.
  • I am not happy!!!
I found this online and am not happy about the #s

Boy, you can sure tell this wasn't posted by someone in Utah.

I have to admit I've never been to Utah... they serve different size drinks? How do the bartenders measure the alcohol?

  • My first reaction when I saw the title of the post was to say "yes please".

I like Michelob Light beer or Killian's Red, any good semi dry or dry wines, good champagne, cognac or armagnac, Mike's Hard Lemonade and a variety of liqueurs, my favorite being Grand Marnier. I don't indulge very often so when I want a drink, I choose according to my tastebuds instead of calories.
  • Dry red wine runs 60-80 calories a glass (4oz). You can always mix that with seltzer, soda, diet soda, etc. to make it more of a wine "cooler" - more volume for the same calores.
  • i live in Wisconsin, and we have some amazing beer here! i am a fan of New Glarus Spotted Cow, an unfiltered "farmhouse ale." it is so good. i have no idea how many calories are in it, and honestly, i don't care.
  • For beer it is pretty hard to go less than MGD Lite 64....doesn't do much for me but I didn't hate it.
