When I saw that segment, I said to the TV
"Up your calories to 1200" My jaw dropped when the "nutritionist" said 951!!!
The contestant was really working out a lot this week. Usually when one is eating light (1000 or so calories) AND working out a lot AND there is no or little weight loss it means that your body does not have enough fuel. And she tells her to eat less???
I don't know why I really watch this show. I feel uncomfortable each time it is on. I think it is the chinzy costumes they put the contestants in. Many of those outfits are not meant for 200+ people. Sorry, but they just aren't and then make them neon-colored & shiny too?
And then when they show the audience shots...skinny audience I might add, many seem to be laughing at the contestants and not in a good way. It just makes me feel uncomfortable for the contestants. So why do I watch this???
