  • okay so last week i went to see Public Enemies. its the one about John Dillinger, and who better to play that than my main squeeze, Johnny Depp! great movie, so hard not to fall in love w.Johnny Depp. I highly recommend seeing it, def. worth the outrageous price to see this movie. what good movies have you seen lately?
  • I saw it last Friday night with my honey. I am in total agreement, Depp is quite yummy and the movie was grand. GO SEE IT!!
  • I recently saw Up. It was delightful
  • i always liked johnny depp but not as much til i saw this movie, maybe the bad boy image? (sighs) always gets us into trouble lol. also saw the hangover, def. recommend that as well!
  • I saw the Proposal, it was pretty cute, but not awesome or anything.
  • Movies I recently saw -

    Taken
    New in Town
    Angels and Demons
    Friday the 13th (sucked, omg!)
    Confessions of a Shopaholic
  • I went to see the midnight show of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on Tuesday. The movie was good enough but not the best. I've read all the books and I LOVE them. I've seen all the movies so far as well. But, I must say, IMO this movie did not flow well at all. I did not like the fact that they made certain changes in the movie which took away the basic importance of this book. Not to mention, changes were made as to how things actually happened as well. I understand that some liberties are taken when movies are made based on books but sometimes I feel the directors lose sight of the whole thing. And, it seems, that's what happened with this movie. I wonder what my fellow HP fans thought of this movie?
  • The last movie I saw was Indiana Jones (4th one). That was over a year ago... We don't go often I was looking at Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton) and think we may go when that comes out.

Its a bit hard for me to spend a nice day at the movies and I don't want to pay the price for night time movies.
  • I saw My Sister's Keeper - bring the kleenex!!!
  • chunkychic, taken was an awesome movie. kinda an eye opener to the fact that stuff like that really happens! that's when i start to sing my 'proud to be an american' song LOL!
  • Star Trek
  • The last one I saw was The Hangover... it was absolutely hilarious! I had high expectations but it definitely met them. It was the best comedy I've seen in a long time.

Before that was Star Trek... also awesome.
  • I saw a preview of Harry Potter on Monday night. I really enjoyed it, especially because the tickets were free! I took my daughter and her friend, who are both 10. My daughter was scared. They both had to close their eyes when the things crawled out of the water. I didn't think it was the best of the movies, but I still liked it. I'm pretty easy to please.

I also read the book, but it's been awhile so I couldn't remember exactly how the book went.
  • I also saw The Hangover last in the theater. I went in with NO expectations, but cracked UP....

I loved the Hangover. I laughed my butt off. It is very raunchy, so don't see it if you don't like that sort of thing. The ending where they're looking at the pictures from the night before were so funny.
