Default Is there a product out there that has literally changed yoru life?

Hey chickies,

I was thinking the other day about a couple of man-made creations that have made my life so much easier, and I was wondering if you guys have a product out there that you just could not live without. Doesn't have to be weight loss related- it could be anything. Here are mine:

1. Advair - It's an asthma controller medication. I grew up with asthma pretty bad, and at one point, I was waking up every single night at 3 a.m. to take my inhaler because I couldn't breathe. Eventually, I was talking my inhaler so often, it exceeded the recommended dosage. Once I starting taking Advair 2x a day, my life has completely changed. I get attacks so rarely now, I sometimes forget where my inhaler is. It's fantastic, and it has literally changed my life.

2. Febreze - I LIVE for this stuff. I have a dog and a cat in a pretty small apartment, and using that stuff... you would never guess I even have pets when you walk into our place. I don't know how it gets those smells out, it just does. Also, both of my parents are smokers, and whenever I go over their house, all my stuff ends up smelling like smoke (I hate it.). So, I just pull out the Febreze and TADA... can't even smell it anymore. So awesome.

What are your favorites? It could be ANYTHING....

Oh gosh, I'm a new product junkie and my husband has to roll his eyes at how naive I can be sometimes. But a few things that have actually helped a bit are:

1) Clorox Wipes: 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 toddlers. 'Nuff said!

2) I got a Roomba for my birthday yesterday. I am sure HOPING this changes my life, no more vacuuming!

Cell phone. There are times it is so aggravating, but being able to be in contact with my kids throughout the day is such a great thing!!

I really like Windex wipes and Clorox clean up wipes. I have never been one to want to waste money but these products make a quick clean up well, QUICK!

Yeah, I agree with the clorox wipes too. I never thought of those... but they are definitely a staple in our house. When they run low, there's always another package on the grocery list.

Maybe it's my age showing, but the dishwasher and microwave have had the biggest impact, even more than the computer. In fact, they probably allow me the time to even use the computer!

I agree with these too! We didn't have a dishwasher in our old house, and we do now. It's just amazing how much time that saves every day!

I am another one voting for the dishwasher. I didn't mind doing dishes by hand. After we got one, Boy oh boy.. why didn't we get one sooner.

iPhone (or any phone with similar features - internet access and GPS, specifically). You don't realize how much you're going to use it until you actually have it. I can play my music to my car stereo while it directs me on how to drive to my next destination, take a photo of something neat I see and send it instantly to my family, and look up ANYTHING the internet has to offer from wherever I am. Mine has apps that'll let it be used as a flashlight or a level.

I'm 6 months into have a dishwasher, and still absolutely tickled by it.

Actifed - without it I would not be able to breathe or sleep at night. Worked better than prescription medicine and it allows me to only take it when I need it.

The Internet. Great research tool. Makes me a more informed consumer and I've learned alot more than I would have otherwise just reading occasional magazines.

Yahoo Maps - I have no sense of direction and driving was always a challenge. This gave me lots of freedom and helped tremendously on vacations. I should bite the bullet and get a GPS.

Walkmans / Ipods - made the workouts so much more tolerable when you've got music you like with a great beat to keep you company.
