My sizes are all over the board

I'm 26, 5'9" and 191 lbs. I wear a size M/L top, size 10/12 dress, and a size 14/16 jean. You can tell where I carry all my weight! LOL

Female, 36
Have usually worn a size 10 at 135-150.
I am currently at 137, and my size 10's are lose, and I love it.
I probably need to look at going to a size 8 or 9, but when I even weighed 135 size 8 was tight

I tend to buy clothes that fit whether they are a 14 or 34 doesn't matter. Most of my clothing are:
Pants: 22/24
Tops: 16/18/20/22 Depending on the cut LOL
Measurements: 47-40-56
My boobs are small compared to my hips, but if you were to look at my silhouette you would see an hourglass. A rather large one, but an hourglass nonetheless.

Hey All,

This is fun, I have just been scanning all the other 5"8 and over gals to see what size I might hope to be at goal!

I am 5"9 weigh 228 and am currently just about fitting in to size 18 jeans (can totally fit in the stretchier fabric ones, but for the more rigid ones, I figure I have another 5 lbs or so to go to lose the sticky out roll of flab!!

Am fitting all tops at size 16-18 and most dresses.

ps - that's size 14 to you guys in America - and, I am so excited, as I am going to California in a few weeks, so I intend to buy lots of size 14's where the tag shows prominantly, so it looks as though I am 2 sizes smaller!!!!

I'd LOVE to...but the nearest Gap to me is about 150 miles...I'd shop online, but I don't like buying things online that i haven't tried on in a store first (like trying on jeans in a store for size, and ordering length online)...Kinda defeats the purpose of online shopping for me, huh?

But I did finally find jeans that were long enough at Old Navy! Yay!

Whoever came up with jean sizes for women should be SMACKED!!!!
Completely, completely AGREED! I put on a size 2 last week at Kohls and they were huge. The vanity sizing is absolutely repulsive. No way are size 2 too big for me!

On the other hand, I also like the Gap for pants if you can manage to get to the closest one. They carry Long and I love that option. I refuse to wear pants that don't cover my heel.

5'10", female, 190, 14.
But I've had 14's forever. They were a tight fit at 211, seem to fit okay at 190, and still fit at 175. So... WHO KNOWS!

50 year old female, 5'5", apple shape.
At 247 pounds I was wearing a tight 24 jeans because of belly fat..
At 193 pounds I can wear a 16 but uncomfortably, loose in butt, giant in the legs, still tight at my belly.. still shopping for the right 'style' for my shape..
Don't even get me going on the length of jeans... lol.. petites shrink to 'flood' pants.. lol..

Congrats to all of you on your progress..
I guess I should be grateful that I'm shopping for smaller sizes even though its aggravating me..

I swear, I want to start a line of clothes and call it AppleRight...oops... did I just give someone else a good idea.. any sponsors out there ?? lol

Just turned 40 this week.

Well, I am freakishly heavy for my size. I carry a lot of weight in my arms and legs; they are huge. Well shaped and proportioned, just very large. In fact my upper arms are so large (muscle plus flab) that I will only wear 3/4ths length sleeve or longer.

Anyway, I'm 5'8, 264 lbs. I wear a 14W/16 misses top, a 16W/18 misses bottom. Like many of you it kind of varies. I have one business suit, a 20 bought in 2003. The waist floats, the hips are baggy but the legs are tight, the shoulders are a bit tight but the middle of the coat floats. I can wear a regular XL t-shirt. It's a tad tight in the chest but in a good way. I've never been comfortable in regular men's XL tshirts before because of my gut. Well, thanks to no processed foods/no diet sodas, no gut!

I have to try EVERYTHING on. I can't take anything for granted.

If you can and have time everyone looking try to read through them all and I am sure someone is your height and Near a number you are looking forward to reaching Just for a guesstimate~(I think that is one of my made up country girl words LOL) of what you might wear when you get there.
