No. Can't stand them myself.

My parents watch them and the funny thing is you can not see one for years, then watch one and not miss anything because its the same old stuff.

Shortly after we were married, my DH was unemployed and I worked very little part-time. We watched soaps for hours each day. Even thinking about them makes me feel sad and lost.

Nope - I used to when I was younger but now when I watch them they make me all agitated and stuff. Actually, all TV does that but I will put up with it for good shows like Project Runway but soaps just ain't worth it.

Does 'Heroes' count? It's kind of a soap... and I'm addicted!

I used to watch One Life to Live. A girl in my HS watched it and when I went to college I watched it when I could. Worked for years then had kids and was home. Started watching again (amazingly I could pick up the show very easily cause a lot of the main characters were still there). When my oldest (um, now 18 ) would go down for her afternoon nap I would turn OLTL on . . . and promptly fall asleep!

Finally started taping them to FF through the commercials and at the time, my hubby worked at night so this was fine.

I stopped watching a few years ago because it was the same old, same old story lines. Todd and Blair break up, Todd and Blair get back together, someone has a unplanned pregnancy, someone is gay, then the serial killer comes to town. Total YAWN so, no more soaps!

But I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Haha, I tend to watch more soaps when I'm with my mom during winter and summer breaks. She watches Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless. I don't usually watch in between holidays, but I have noticed that I can pick up pretty easily...

When I was little I watched Loving every chance I got (looks like it ended when I was 11 years old). My first "imaginary" friends were characters from the show, lol. Whenever I had a day off from school, I'd try to get caught up on what was happening.

My grandmother (who took care of me during the day while my parents worked) also watched All My Children so I watched that too, at times. I'd guess that the last time I watched one was about 10 years ago.

I grew up watching All My Children - from the time I was about 10 or so until I was about 24. lol. They killed off someone I really liked and I got mad and quit watching. I think it was Leo? it's been too long.

other then that there are some embarrassing teen dramas. I love Dawson's Creek and seen the entire series start to finish at least twice. I just discovered the new 90210 and I am sad to say- I LOVE IT!

one summer when i was very young, i watched The Young and the Restless with my mom all summer and really got into it.. i think i was 13 or so ... david hasselhoff was 'snapper', it was all about Jill and mrs chanceler (amazing what you remember lol).. anyhow when school started back i was so sad i would miss it... the next summer i sat down with great anticipation to watch again, and it was like i hadnt missed a thing.. within 2 days i was all caught up.. that did it for me with soaps ...i figured if in a 9 month school year it didnt move much, i could find better things to do with my time..

then i moved to england 2 years ago... and got caught up in a big soap here called Eastenders... if you miss a week of that show, you are lost lol..

I used to love Passions but now I can't even be in the same room as shows like DOOL.

Young And The Restless fan here...and it is completely because my mom used to watch CBS when I was a young child, and every day The Price Is Right and Young And The Restless would be on. I remember the old days when Victor first met Nikki in the strip club...

I have only seen snippets of Passions, and I have to say...that is the strangest, craziest, most OUT THERE soap I have ever seen. It's like the slapstick comedy/dramas on our local Spanish channel.
