Honestly I will probably weigh myself every morning after I shower for the rest of my life. I find that it keeps me on track better than anything.
Then again, I am not a scale "obsesser" ..
and I don't get freaked out or stressed over daily fluctuations. As long as I can see progress on the long term, I'm good.
But I think that as I move from loss into maintenance, I'll be more likely to not slide back into 10 lbs here and 10 lbs there if I'm monitoring my weight. More than 5lbs up and I'll know that I need to cut back for a little bit - or that I should see where I'm adding in too much over the long term. It's a solid method of being accountable for me, I think.
