Whitney! They picked the full figured gal! (True, we might not think she is full figured when compared to us, but still--full-figured!)
What do you guys think about this?

I don't know who she is, but YAY for an even slightly fuller figured winner!!!

I love Whitney and I am so glad they finally gave a "plus-size" girl a chance! I definitely think they made the right choice this season!

Anya is beautiful and does great pictures. I think she'll have a great print career. I think she'll need a diction coach if she wants to do any commercials. Her accent is cute, but I think it needs to be toned down just a little. Again, I do think it's cute, so no one yell at me, lol!

I was stunned, because I didn't think they would give it to the "juicy" girl! I literally gasped when they called her name because I wasn't expecting it at all. I even felt a little tear in my eye because I was proud that one of "us" had won!

I thought that Whitney rocked the fashion show, and she has personality too. She's a real presence, whereas Anya is just kinda ehhh. Anya takes great pics, but she was bad on the runway and is pretty blah personality-wise.

I remember thinking that they would probably pick Anya anyway because she is thinner, and I was thinking about how outraged I was going to be about it!

I also believed they (the judges) would ultimately award it to Anya since she is more high fashion and would probably be able to book more runway shows and print ads than Whitney. Sad, but that's most likely going to be the reality.

I was rooting for Whitney, so I'm pleased she won.

I can't watch the show because of my work schedule but I was wondering who she was so just did some "research" on her...and she's 5'10" and wears dress size 10! I'm so glad to see that a show like America's Top Model now acknowledges that one doesn't have to be a stick or bone to be beautiful and model.

**Edit: Oops. It was dress size 12, and shoe size 10.hahaha... oops. sorry..

I love Whitney and I'm glad she won! Hopefully, this will show young girls that you don't have to be a size zero to be beautiful.

Now if only I were a size ten, plus sized or not, I'd be super thrilled!!!!!

I don't watch the show because I got disgusted with satelite TV when I walked in and my 13 year old was watching(not her fault)a sex act on a supposed network station. Only free TV for now. I'm not even a prude, but PULEEEZE!!!

But, I absolutely fell in love with Tyra when those horrid mags printed a picture of her at 160 and saying how fat and horrible she looked. She went on her show and told them to kiss her fat A**. I remember thinking about how I wished I was "only" 160. She looked great and I didn't feel fat and ugly at 160. In fact, both my ex and I thought I looked pretty damned good.

Maybe that experience had an effect in the final judging. Whatever, the reason, I'm glad to hear about it.

I could not believe it!! I was watching it with my husband and I was saying "please let whitney win... but they will probably give it to the skinny chick, like usual!" but they didn't!! I was so happy. I can't believe it went to a full figured model. It's about time the average woman showed up in more magazines and on tv to show people what the average woman looks like (although she is smaller than the average, I believe she is a size 10 and the average is size 12). But I LOVE her body and I would love to have it. She is so much sexier and prettier than those toothpicks they call models!! GO FULL FIGURED GIRLS!!!

BEST SHOW AND SEASON EVER!!!! I couldnt stand Fatima and Anya i thought wasnt bad, but i totally fell in love with whitney in the beginning. YAY!!!!

I was soooooooo freakin happy when Whitney won, I started crying, lol!!!! I liked her from day 1!!! I havent bought a Seventeen mag in 5 years, but I'll totally be picking up that copy w/her on the cover!!

Not to be mean but I really don't think Fatima is even pretty! Well when she had on all of her makeup she was "ok". I thought whitney was WAY prettier and so was Anya
