Default hysterectomy recovery-I'll be away from my computer

referernce previous conversations about this topic:
http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=124241

I had my surgery on Tuesday. They had me standing up and walking a few steps that evening but they gave me a nice morphine pump that I could push when ever I had pain so it wasn't so bad. Then the horrible people took away my morphine pump and then had me walk the hallways the following day. I mean seriously, couldn't they have waited until after the walk to take it away? Oh, well I survived.

I'm to be discharged today after I speak with the doctor so I won't be on the computer soon. Here at the hospital we have a nice little tv/computer/dvd player all in one by my bedside. I tried to talk my doctor into letting me stay longer but for some reason she didn't go along with my idea. The foods not bad, I can order what ever and when ever I want...ok so I've only wanted soft foods and nothing too exciting yet. The nice nurses are waiting on my hand and foot. I don't think my dh will be quite as attentive when I get home.

NOw I'm fighting the gassey feeling. You just don't realize how painful gas can be until you've had stitches down in that area.

I'll let you guys now how things go. Hopefully my energy will return and I'll get back in shape starting in a month, not too soon.
