Default Nintendo games for 11 year old

I need to buy a couple of games for my 11 year old niece. I would assume she would like High School Musical and Hannah Montana - but I am afraid that even though those are age appropriate, I am way off. Any one know what an 11 year old girl would like?

I have a friend who has an 11 year old daughter and those exact things are what she is buying for her own daughter for Christmas. I'm not a mom yet so can't really give you my own suggestions but I have been listening to the few friends I have that already have kids and what they're getting them for Christmas.

It really depends on what kind of gamer she is. For example, if she likes watching those things to begin with then the games may be fun for her.

However, you don't say what system for Nintendo. The WII? The DS? Are we talking old school N64?

If you're talking Wii - I always suggest Warioware Smooth Moves. (I can't get enough of that game!) I hear Super Mario Galaxy is also fun.

If you're talking DS - you may want to check out the Super Princess Peach game. Does she like Zelda? There's a pretty fun Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass game out.

If you find out what system it is, and what type of games she already plays (if you know) feel free to PM me and I could get back to you asap with a small list of games she might like as well. However, you know your niece best

I love Banjo Kazooie and the original Zelda if it's an N64 system.

Does she have Nintendogs? That's a really good 11 year old girly game.

Also, Animal Crossing Wild World. That kept me (19 years old) entertained for 8 months...or so And my cousin who is 11 has it too and loves it!

I vote for Cooking Mama or Cooking Mama 2. My 10 y.o. niece has those and her 15 y.o. cousin is always "borrowing" it. It's pretty fun. Anything "Mario" is pretty good too.

I'll be 36 next Thursday and I have my own DS

Pokemon is fun - it's an rpg that will take a good amount of time to finish.
