Yikes! Halen and Guns n Roses are two of my favs...then and now. I seldom find new groups I like...a FEW. Howie Day is a newer one I like. That's why I love downloading my own music. I can pick and choose the music I really like, and most of it are songs like on that list.

Here's one I was surprised wasn't up there, but maybe it wasn't as popular or just missed the year....Break My Stride. Also on my iPod.

WOW!! I love this thread. I graduated in 77' had my oldest in 80' and my next child in 84', and they like this music also. It brings back great memories, and I have even more memories from the 70's. I really like all kinds of music, but these are my favorites.

AlmostHeaven...I think my problem is visual, lol. It was like when Britney Spears came out I couldn't listen to her music because I saw some videos and thought, ugh! The same with Van Halen and Guns N Roses...I just think all those guys are ugh! Lol I get a visual in my head and can't listen to the music.

Babenwaiting...I agree! I love Hall & Oates and didn't even know Daryl is 61, yikes!

I didn`t know he was that old either, but he still looks good! Did you know he has Lymes disease? had a rough time with it for awhile, now I think it`s in remission. I read about it on his fan site.

They did something in one of my daughter's classes back when she'd started high school and she needed old music from us. She used some of hubby's Beetles, Van Halen, and Frank Sinatra "albums". Yes, you heard me correctly. And my Eagles, Queen, Styx and Kansas cassettes. This kid who listens to rap ended up falling in love with Queen and the Eagles. LOL

Firehorse...I didn't know that he had lymes disease. And yes, he does still look good. Voices Carry is another good one...too many good ones for sure!

Hey, some of Frank Sinatra's songs are good! I love Fly Me to the Moon and a couple others. I bought one of his CD's.
