PreppieBlonde .... they probably could have given me a strand test, which would have proved that I didn't have cocaine in my system. However, I don't think they could be bothered. They basically treated me after that as if I were a drug addict and could not be trusted, despite the fact that I had worked there for five years with good performance.
I have learned since that certain combinations of over the counter medications and other things can cause false positives, which is why I the whole idea of blood/urine/saliva testing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But yes, I have heard the strand test is very accurate.
