LILYBELLE ~ Love the goggles idea. A friend of mine called a couple of days ago, I don't see him but every couple of months. Anyway, he didn't know about my eye. After I told him the story he just said "Well, looks like God is trying to tell you something"...I said "What's that?" thinking he would say to stop drinking...nope..."You need to wear a helmet while drinking!"

ALLISON ~ about your DH needing to get that turkey eaten! Hey, I can relate...sometimes you just have your heart set on something...nothing can take it away! Thumbs up!

MARE ~ Seriously, I don't think I could have driven to the hospital, my eye was pretty crooked in there and my good one was watery and blurring from the other one being jacked up.

Final up-date

Went to the doctor Friday, she said no need at this time for steroids. She says the blurriness I have may be able to be corrected with glasses, she wants me to come back in a month. The eye is healing fine but she said I really need to careful from now on that the cut was almost through the cornea and will be a weak spot...so I need to wear safety glasses when removing beer from fridge...or switch to cans!
