Ha.. thanks.. Its actually not *as* big as it looks.. it 3/4 carat.. but its clarity is insane.. its a 2... 0 would be flawless, and the color is an F in color which to the naked eye is IS colorless . That info is for anyone who cares about the 3 C's. Its on a white gold band, a cathedral setting.

The proposal, he took me to a sushi resturant because our first date was at a sushi resturant ( not the same one) but the *same* one is kinda far from both of us. He did the whole down on one knee ( I thought I would die) I couldnt stop cheesing. Not every girl gets to marry the man of her dreams, but looks like I will get to. Sooooo glad I never settled. Even though I am nearly 26 and nearly all of my friends are married, and girls I went to high school with are married.. Im the only adult child my mom has that hasnt been married at least once by 21. Im sooooo glad Ive held out because its so worth it. Its funny though because I had only known him about 2 weeks when I told my best friend that he was going to be my husband one day.. he just didnt know it hehe.. Im so flipping excited.. been together 2 yrs minus a few months because I was being stubborn It is true that you dont know what you have until its gone, but didnt take me long to figure it out.

Your ring is gorgeous!! Simply beautiful. Congratulations on your engagement. I was 26 when I got married. It's just the perfect age. Enjoy this time; it flies by. My only advice is: record your wedding and reception. We didn't and oh how I wish we had. It's hard to imagine "down the road" but I sure wish I could show my kids that we were not always "just mom and dad". My hair never used to have any gray and I didn't need to lose weight back then!! Also, several people have passed away and we've fallen out of touch w/some since our wedding (egads, 20 years this May ). Sure w/be nice to hear their voices again. Lovely news; keep us posted on the plans!!

congrats..and great story. Here's my suggestion. Enjoy your day...don't let anyone tell you what "YOU" need. Do your wedding how you want...don't get so overwhelmed with the wedding your spending the rest of you life paying off your wedding. I waited until i was 32 to get married..and i knew the guy was the "right" one too. We had a perfect wedding..small with only 30 ppl (close family only). In the mountains of NC, beautiful, fun and best of all NO STRESS. Remember it doesn't have to be what you see the stars doing..crazy ellaborate stuff. Enjoy your day, don't stress. I had the best time at my wedding...didn't even care that the florist didn't show until 10 min before the wedding since there was a HUGE car wreck on the interstate. I knew the wedding wouldn't happen without the flowers..so we waited. I enjoyed every moment of it and did not have any worries...I also had great ppl who helped me out. Just do what you want to do..not what everyone else wants to do.
