Can I record a dvd onto a VHS tape?

  • I would like to copy one of my WATP dvds onto a tape. That way, when we go out of town, I have my workout routine with me. Most places have a VHS player, but not a dvd.

I can't find the book on the combo player, so I thought I'd ask you.

    TIA.
  • Probably It depends on your system, but it's worth a try. I piggybacked my machines to copy my tapes and dvds.
  • I have a combo VCR/DVD Recorder so I can dub both ways. I also have an older Dual-Deck VCR attached and I've been able to copy a DVD playing in the combo machine to a tape running in the old VCR.

One other thing I've started doing...I get Exercise TV/Fit TV on Demand, a cable station where you can select for free from a list of shows on that channel and I've taped onto VHS some of the WATP series...I'm creating a tape that will have a bunch of different workouts on it.
  • Ellie - isn't the FitTV on demand stuff awesome? If you ever need a SERIOUS butt-kicking, I recommend "Cardio Kickbutt" on the "Star Trainers" section. There are like 50 million squats, but its definitely a GOOD burn.

Have you tried the WATP 3 mile jog? Definitely got the HR up.
  • Wonder if Dish has that.
