Has anyone every been on any weight loss medication? I am thinking about asking my dr for xenical, or meridia. If anyone has had an experience or advice please let me know Thanks!

They are alright, you just have to be really careful of the fat intake you have, or you will never be away from the toilet. LOL.
Been on them for 6 weeks, only took them for 5 weeks as I was away on holiday, didn't want to have any red faces. Let me know if its the same ones.

Under General - Diet Plans - the second topic - there is a Xenical Xanies Thread and also one for Meridia. The Meridia one may be fading out as there seem to be only a few posting on it.

I have been investigating both these drugs but have not made any decision yet. They both DO work but X can have side effects and must be taken withg every meal. Meridia appears to work for long term appetite reduction but is contraindicated if there is a heart problem or any sort or hypertension.
