Cool Anyone from NH?

I was just wondering if anyone was from NH and how do you get your exercise in when it is so FREEZING outside? I can't afford a gym so I usually walk my dog, but I can't stand the cold.

Not anymore. Left there Nov. '04. The year after I ran in the Jingle Bell run/walk in Concord in the middle of a noreaster. Now what's that about getting in exercise while it's freezing? LOL

Actually I do believe my words following that run, to the co-worker who talked me into it, started by calling her the B word and exclaiming how I'd never listen to her again. Other than that....

I had a gym with my apt. so membership was cheap. But I supplemented that as well with lots of videos. I tried several before I latched onto the Walk Away the Pounds videos as ones this uncoordinated bumpkin could master. I also invested in small pieces of equipment as I could afford them. Picked up a stair stepper at a yard sale, bought a Strider for $50 at Wal*Mart, got a body ball, some hand weights, hoola hoop. Sometimes I'd just get up and march, exaggerated marching, in front of the TV while watching a movie. Try that for an hour or so and see if you don't get a good workout. And...no equipment required.
