Default Wii vs. Whoopee

There's a radio station here that is pretty funny in the AMs. This morning they were talking to a guy that is doing the Wii weight loss plan. He plays Nintendo Wii (sports package) at least 30 minutes a day every day and in 6 weeks has lost 9 lbs. THEN they got on people that are doing the Sex workout plan. These people are hitting the sheets 3 - 4 times a day and two different women that called in said they have each dropped about 40 lbs. in the past 2 - 3 months. They didn't tell how much their partners have lost, only that they are very happy.

The DJ then got two guys on the phone that have agreed to compete - one doing the Wii workout and the other doing the Whoopee workout. They are going to track their progress and see who loses the most weight in a given time period. They aren't modifying their eating at all, just playing Wii and getting busy.

I hadn't heard of either of the two "exercise plans" but am curious to know if anyone is hearing anything about these in their neck of the woods?

I've been telling dh I want a Wii in part for the workout. I tried it out at a friend's house and it was awesome and so much fun. Between that and my Dance Dance Revolution I bet I'd get a great workout.

Oh and those who can hit the sheets 3-4 times a day obviously have no kids or at least have no kids at home.

ROFLMAO! I don't know if I could enjoy sex if I made it a "workout." Then doing it 3-4 times a day? If that was spontaneous combustion of lust- then yeah! I wouldn't be focusing on my rolls and how I want them gone.

To be honest, since I turned 50, I get up to Wii 2 or 3 times a night, haven't noticed any weight loss. My $$$ is on the couple doing the chaka-chaka.

EZ you are a HOT MESS!!!

They asked the ladies if their partners were using Viagra and they said no. They also asked if making it an exercise regiment made it less enjoyable and one lady got to discussing how they keep it new by using various positions, gadgets and gizmos, tantric, etc. The whole program was hilarious especially the position discussion because they had to be careful of what they said since it was on the radio.

Oh, my goodness, this is too funny.

I agree Nelie, who has the time? And do you have to run home for a quickie several times during the day? It's not like you can do it at the office!!

Gary, we all wii during the night!! But my DS does have a Wii and it can be a good workout depending on what sport you're doing. Bowling isn't one of them! I think boxing was the one that got my MIL and me huffing and puffing (yes, we fought each other on the Wii).

Well dh and I used to work together, but guess we were chicken. 3-4 times a day. that is hilarious to think of.

Is it sad that the Wii sounds like a better choice?

But what about the softball snack-bar, if you and your wife are the ones to close that night?

Definitely flexible what with all the position descriptions they had going AND creative. One caller said that her partner lived an hour away so she only saw him twice a week so she doubled up the sessions. I thought she was either lying or a huge investor in both Viagra and KY.
