I've never heard that although I have heard of a similar thing for protein. There are some formulas that people say multiply your weight by .xx to get the amount of protein you should be eating per day.

Why not look at your carb percentages and try to lower them? If 40% of your calories are from carbs, try to move to 30%? Or how about eating better carbs.

Sorry if this isn't very helpful.

I don't know anything about low carb and how to figure it out. Lillybelle is on a low carb diet. I think she said she tries to keep it at under 30g/day. Maybe you can PM her? She probably has a better idea. Sorry I can't help you. I just did a search on the net and it's coming up blank, although there are plenty of resources for the new lo-carb dieter.

Hope someone answers your question!

But remember, if you're going to do low carb there are a lot of forbidden foods out there. When you chest on a low carb diet, you are putting your body out of ketosis and can actually gain weight! If you count calories and keep fat low, no food is forbidden.

I just hate to see people start diets that are unrealistic. A diet isn't just a diet, it's a lifestyle change. If you think you can eat low carb forever- more power to you! You're stronger than I am. If it's not somehting you can do, I would recommend choosing a different diet plan.

your carbs are supposed to be 50-60% of your daily intake of calories for a regular diet (not low carb)
