I have a bruised rib. I'd like to say it was a bar fight. But it was actually a tennis accident. For a moment, I thought I was on grass. Evidently not.

The question is, were you in a bar before you played tennis ?
Threadkiller is waning, it looks like it is on its last legs. I hate to give up on it as it has kept me out of the refrigerator many times in the last few years.I have enjoyed the good laughs we have had and don't want to say goodbye. What do you all think ?
Sorry my focus has been waning. I'm getting bogged down with assignments and can't find much break time. I shouldn't even be here now

If you thought you were on the grass, are you sure it's your rib that's bruised?

Why should you never fall in love with a tennis player?

This is one that I thought was way below Ian's intelligence......I don't think he is in 3rd grade, I suppose I could be wrong.
I see. Well, it's better to post something rather than nothing. Isn't that the way thread conversations continue and give others topic ideas--by saying random things? Conversations are to and fro. What would I know... I only study linguistics. Perhaps it's YOU bargoo who has forgotten this.
I feel unwanted in this thread, so I'll go then, since I don't contribute how "some people" would like me to.
Good luck with your 'tongue and cheek' conversations.

Everybody is wanted in this thread, the more the merrier. I am sorry if I said something to offend you, it not intended as such.
