Don't overlook the difficulty of assimilating refugees.
They gotta learn the language, the culture, and the American way of life. And buy clothes for the other three seasons that exist elsewhere.
Could be a tough training job.

Saw it in Toronto last summer - just great! I had just a little trouble with the language. (Must go to Berlitz to learn "Joisey" sometime.)

Well, I was up shortly after four and there is a three hour time difference.
You know, despite all the kidding, I am thinking of visiting CA one of these winters. Will I need to go to Berlitz or will I be OK? Like I can speak Valley Girl and a bit of Spanish but ...

I can order a meal in a Mexican Restaurant and that is about as far as my Spanish goes. We also have many Asians, Vietnamese, Korean. Thai, and others who enjoy living in the USA. I do not speak Valley Girl and sometimes have difficulty understanding those who speak English, I mean real English as in those who have moved here from Great Britain. I worked for a company based in Massachusetts, I needed a translator to understand my boss..
My Massachusetts co workers always called me Bob, meaning Barb, right after they pahked the cah in the hahved yahd.
Come on down Ruth, you will have a great time just as I did when I spent a week in Montreal.

IT might, but I might not; there's another bunch of snow outside for me to face this morning.
Or, I could read 3FC, LOL.
