  • Hubby and I had the most fun playing this!

You start with a song title, and the next person comes up with another one that is connected in some way with the other. It doesn't matter in what way they are linked. Whatever your mind goes to is fair. The only real rule is that it has to be an actual published song title, not one you made up for the game. Although, if it's not glaringly obvious, explaining how you connected it with the previous title might be fun. We also tried to make it a rule not to use the same song title twice, but that might be hard to do on a message board.

For example, All Shook Up could lead to any one of these:
    • All By Myself (both titles start with "all")
    • Up Where We Belong (they have "up" in common)
    • Shake, Rattle, and Roll (concept of "shaking")
    • Return to Sender (both early Elvis hits)
    • Rock Around the Clock (both 50's dance songs)

In this way, a chain of song titles might go like this:

    I Will Always Love You
    Will You Love Me Tomorrow?
Natural Woman (this and the last one both written by Carole King)
    I Am Woman
    I Am, I Said
    What Did She Say?
    She's Like the Wind
    Texas Tornado ("wind" connection)
