I know! I know! And now we have a small twister that hit five miles away.
There will probably be an increase in ambulance calls today from all the stress and excitement. I think I'll take me tea out to the front porch and wait for something to happen. The lawn guys have come and gone so that part of the small town excitement is over.
The most exciting thing that happened yesterday in Superior Court was a stuck elevator. A bunch of jurors coming back from lunch were stuck for 35 minutes. They tried the emergency phone, no answer, they called 911 who couldn't figure out where they were. Finally one of the group ,( on the same jury as me) used her cell to call her husband,( a teacher who was teaching a class at the time )he called 911 who sent the fire department to get them out. Your tax dollars at work, folks !
O.o;;; They were in the court house and the 911 call center person couldn't figure out where they were???
Note to self, don't bother calling 911! haha, just kidding.
At least you weren't stuck in there with them, Bargoo. Did you get to take the rest of the afternoon off or had to wait for 'em?
The only thing that shakes the land here is trains, , but the sky comes tumbling down pretty well every once in a while. I'm hoping for more rain but I've got a clear sky out there.

Today's small town excitement? The bass season opened last night and Bob's Diner is standing room only with griping/bragging fishermen. It's early yet though - something even more exciting may happen.
