What a great game that was. Angie and I went for a 2.5 mile walk when it was 3-1 Tigers in the 4th...we got back home 3-2 in the 6th....what a game!
My ex-wife's family and many from our church are big Twins fans from being from Minnesota...so always a soft spot for me and my kids. I told Angie I was pulling for them but wouldn't lose sleep either way.
The game so so exciting we watched during dinner...usually a no-no in my house!...the TV on at dinner...Angie watched to the end....rare she watches at all unless a Dodger game or USC and even that doesn't guarantee her watching....
BIG BIRD I am sure the weather won't be a factor in the game tomorrow night! Probably in the 60's and no rain.
WOW.....that "outfield" had some wild plays going on in Philly...sorry DIANE....Cole Hamels is a local boy...pitched in our high school league...a school we dislike...'cause it ain't us!....go get him tomorrow!
Ugh!
Well, I think the Rockies like to make it interesting, so they dig a hole just to see if they can get out of it. ha! Hopefully tomorrow is better!
I think we have a chance...although a slim one...if we can find a way to beat Carpenter and Wainwright and hold big Al down....riiiight...like that's gonna happen....

Sorry. The chances of doing all 3 are slim.
But it is post-season and anything can happen. Go Cards
Clydegirl... there is a nice spot running on TNT baseball about Pujols... I'm going to try and find it on Youtube... It's all him... shows that catch where he leaped up onto the tarp and off...
Yanks vs. Twins in NY 2-2. I'm hoping that the Twins are still pumped from last night and can take game one...... We finally play tomorrow at 9:30pm... its been a long wait...Sox had off day and some went to Disneyland... no kidding..
