It's not weird~it good soup!!!

I'll have to make it again this weekend. We've got an arctic front coming through. Its raining today and will get colder and colder (I know, cold here is like a high of 55, but I'm a desert rat!).

Its 55 down there? Your northern-state neighbors (in Sacramento) had a low last night of 25!

Yeah, we have frost advisories all weekend. I think the lows will be in the 20s. That's really cold for us. We had a cold spell in November and our A/C had some pipes break and then it started leaking into the roof of our shop. It was then that they determined we need a new roof on the building....the owners of the building had to refinance to be able to afford the new roof. But, it was better that it happen like this. It turns out the A/C's are so old that they need to be replaced. Its a lot easier to live without A/C now than in the summer when it reaches 120. (You know what it's like to have hot summers, too!) I'm glad they are getting it fixed now!
