Default Humus?

Ive been using this instead of butter on my toast, but will it really help with weight loss?
I also used a bit as a salad dressing earlier.

Using hummus instead of butter is a great way to cut calories! One tablespoon of hummus usually contains 25 calories (depending on the recipe). One tablespoon of butter contains 100 calories. I like it as a sandwich spread instead of mayo, too.

Yes, that's me

I love hummus! I've even started making my own from scratch. It's fun to experiment with different flavor combinations.

I absolutely adore Hummus too! I roll up some cooked turkey and dip it in! Also v good on carrots! I've not started spreading it on bread though - must try that!

Hummus and pita bread is one of my favourite snacks, delicious! I like the baby pita breads you can get at Marks and Spencer.

It's really amazing how the little things you do, like swapping butter for hummus, can make a big difference to your weight loss.

One of my favourite "diet" books, is Picture Perfect Weight Loss by Dr Shapiro which has lots of pictures of smart things you can do to save calories.
