Default Using Paper Muffin Liners

Am I supposed to spray these? I don't usually use these but I bought some and don't want my muffins to stick too much

I am making an Angel Food Cake mix into muffins (if that matters).

Thanks!

I always spray mine, but I don't think you HAVE to.

thanks lucky (nice name, btw - lol)

I just didn't want them to burn or anything b/c of the spray.

I thought that was the purpose of using the liners... so you don't have to spray the tins...???

i was worried about the paper sticking to the cake (especially since angelfood cake is kind of sticky anyway)

but do NOT spray the paper liners - it burned the bottoms of the muffins slightly. the second batch i did not spray and they came out fine - did not stick to the liners.

I'm making a mental note - do not spray paper liners

thanks!
