Default Meal Replacement Drink

Hello to all,
I have been a lurker o nthe board for quiet sometime and have used a ton of great information.
Are there any recipes for a homemade meal replacement protein shake that can be mixed with water that tastes good? Either one that is homemade or one that can be boughtthat is reasonable in price?
I don't eat dairy so the mixes like slim fast and others won't work because 98% of the protein in slimfast drinks comes from dairy. I know that herbalife has some drink mixes that remind you of fruit drinks and that is what I'm looking for but not for over $1.00 a packet. Any ideas or help would be great and I hope to hear from everyone soon.

I get protein powder in a bulk food store. I use soy and whey but I'm pretty sure they have egg too. You then have to dress up the taste. Fruit, crystal light, sugar free jello powder, splenda, extracts ....
