Default DOes ONION POWDER have sodium in it?

Hey guys and gals (mostly gals), do you know if onion powder has sodium in it? I bought the cheapest brand at the store and it didnt say a single thing about its nutritional info on the label.

It shouldn't. It should only be onion.

A whole tablespoon of onion powder only has 4mg sodium. The amount you use will probably be 0. As Jen pointed out, it should just be onion Read the label, though, in case they add anything to it. Onion salt, is another story
