Tasty lowER cal stroganoff w. tuna

  • If you like stroganoff, you will LOVE this recipe created by Yours Truly. Honestly you CAN NOT tell a difference


    1/4c of Smart Balance Light (it serves 4 so YOU wont be eatting 1/4c of butter)

    Onion finely chopped ( however much you would like to use)

    3/4c of Low Fat or Nonfat PLAIN yogurt

    1 can of Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom soup 98% fat free

    Chives

    1 small can of sweet peas

    1 large can of Albacore Tuna ( you could use regular tuna)


    In a large skillet melt butter, add onion. In a small bowl combine cream of mushroom soup, yogurt, peas, and chives.

    When onions are soft add mixture to skillet and tuna, heat throughly. Add a pinch or two of kosher salt and teaspoon of black pepper.

    Serve with no yolks or whole wheat spagetti noodles ( this is what I did)

    Its sooooo quick and easy not to mention YUMMMMY! Your family will never know the difference, and you have save ALOT of calories and fat.

  • Now this sounds good. I love tuna dishes (like tuna casserole, etc.) but my husband won't eat it, so I have to make these things for myself only. I could make this and have it for lunch for a couple of days.
