Default Vegetables and Fruits?

Aren't fruits and vegetable supposed to not have calories? I know that sounds kinda odd..but I always thought fresh fruits and veggies didnt...I was looking at what I've eaten in my FitDay and I noticed that the carrots and bananaz and peaches I've eaten have calories...Just wondering

All food has calories, even no calorie manufcatured foods have trace calories. Fruits and vegetables are important to your diet. They procide essential vitamins and mineral that arem uch easier for your body to digest then vitamins. Also, the amoutn of calories in fruits in veggies arem uch lower then other food groups such as meat and and full-fat dairy. The bottom line is that your gettign calories from the carrot stick yes, but your less likely to gain three pounds from that then a bag of potato chips.

Thanks so much.

I just needed someone to clear that up for me. Well I'm off for my walk this morning. Check in later.

Yes. Some rack high on the GI as well, such a Carotts.

Here's some great websites I've had bookmarked in my favorites that list different veggies/fruits and calories.

Inside my own head, I think this ... if it has nutrients, it has calories. The trick then is to find the most nutrients in a manageable amount of calories.
You can learn a lot more than just calories by going to Fitday, yes? I think it's a wonderful tool.
