I bought all natural Annie Chun's Garlic Scallion Meal Kit from Trader Joe's last week. Its basically chow mein noodles and garlic scallon sauce, takes 10 minutes to make. Well this morning I was very hungry (TOM) and I didn't want breakfast foods so I decided to give it a try. You heard me right, breakfast
I cooked the noodles like directed (5 minutes, but I broke the noodles in half b/c they are long) and while they were cooking I heated up (in a frying pan) a big bag of oriental style veggies (frozen) and a can of corn (small, I love corn). When it was all done I tossed everything together. I did not use oil and you know, it really didn't need it. I'd say if your gonna reheat it, you could use a teaspoon if you wanted.
All I have to say is I can't wait to try the black bean one, it was WONDERFUL!!! My belly is full, craving satisified and it was only 300 calories when I got done
Each box makes 3 servings but when you load it up on veggies, the servings are big !! My kinda servings LOL.
You can also add chicken or beef if you got calories to spare.
She's got a website with her products and recipe's:
