Healthy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies!
:) Here's a yummy recipe - everyone loves these cookies!
As a guide, use the main recipe on the inside cap of Quaker Oatmeal round jar. You will be making the following substitutions: You can substitute Egg Beaters for the whole eggs or just use the eggs (I did). For white flour, substitute 3/4 whole wheat flour, and 1/4 the white flour. For sugar, measure out Splenda and use same amt. as you would the sugar. For the oil, use Land O'Lakes soft baking butter with canola oil (sold in sticks in butter section). This has no saturated or trans-fats and it's great! Or you could just use regular Canola or Enova Oil instead. Add the raisins, add a few dashes of cinnamin, and I add 1/2 bag Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips. Hey, you gotta have some satisfaction, eh? lol Bake according to directions. These cookies are great, as well as healthy, lower fat/calorie. For you carb watchers, you can use the Atkins Bake mix instead of the flour! I guarantee you guys'll love these! Enjoy and let me know how they turned out! :) |
Sounds yummy, thanks!!!

Is this a Sugar Busters recipe? Are you allowed chocolate chips on Sugar Busters? Also, are you allowed some white flour on Sugar Busters?

Great! Thanks... Do these taste okay? I mean, can you tell the difference. Sometimes I like to enjoy the real thing, and just eat them in small amounts... But if these taste good, I am all for them... in small amounts of course... Happy St. Pattys everyone...
