Default Sweetango ... So good!

Maybe I live under a rock, but I'd never heard of a sweetango apple until today. It's the most delicious apple I've ever had! So juicy and sweet. The sweetness reminds me a little of cherry jolly ranchers but much better because it's a less intense and more real flavor. Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone else who may have not yet enjoyed this tasty food.

Thank you. I live in Pennsylvania and never heard of them. I will now be on the lookout!

I got mine at Wegmans. Idk if they're in your part of PA, but if they are, you should be set. The apples have a short season, so I'm gonna buy a lot more this week. If you like honeycrisp, you'll probably love these because that apple is the "mother" of this one, and this one's even better.

I hope you enjoy!

I have a meeting with my professor this morning, and I'm going to bring him one.

I hope the absence of feedback doesn't mean you loathed it, MorningGlory!

Feel free to give your honest opinion! It's ok if you hated it b/c that means more sweetangos for me.

Speaking of another food find...others my already do this, but for the first time I just crumbled half of a graham cracker into my Chobani key lime yogurt. Yum!

Chunkahlunkah~ I liked my SweetTango...so you are out of luck!!!

I ate a small one ravenously; the next will be at a much slower pace in order to savor ever morsel!

Rats!!

Interesting to know it comes in different sizes b/c all of the ones at my store were huge! I thought maybe they were designed to be like that, but I guess it can vary.

I think my favorite thing about this apple is how crisp it is. I cut it into slices, and each bite has this delicious explosion of chilled, sweet apple juice. I don't even usually like apples much but I think I've fallen in love.

I've made pairing this with a piece of cheese one of my snacks/small meals lately. I love it.
