I ended up having the turkey burger in lettuce (it was a 3oz patty), and made a homemade southwest salad (like McD, but more delicious and without the chicken).
Tonight I have no idea - definitely something super easy.
Kettle corn! lol Was showing around some families for an evening activity at the camp and went to market night and they had kettle corn and I love kettle corn and never have it so I decided to get a small. I figured it would be good, but not anything special and I'd share it and then toss it or give it to someone but it was the BEST kettle corn I've had in my entire life! haha So that was dinner I did share some...but ate most of it myself. I was a -2 and ended +2. I'm looking forward to next week and being back to my normal schedule and eating habits
IPN, I say go for it! My favorite brand is La Tourangelle. The secret, I think, is that it's toasted. I've seen it in our regular grocery chain, too, which is Safeway in northern Calif. Bon Appetit!
Oh made a delightful dinner with my fiance! Gluten free/dairy free pizza topped with lots of veggies, gluten free garlic bread, gluten free vegetarian wardoff salad, gluten/sugar/dairy free blueberry cobbler. My fiance made the dough for the pizza and garlic bread and I was very impressed! Has anyone subbed avocado for butter before? I tried it for the cobbler and it turned out really well! For the wardoff vegetarian salad I used tempeh instead of chicken. Boiling it in mckay's imitation chicken broth turns it into a great chicken sub for salads. I was a -3 and ended +4. I didn't even eat that much! The food happened to be super filling besides low cal and healthy.
Hey Dottington, The meal sounds superb!!! I would love to know what brand/flavor of tempeh you use. I'm totally bewildered by the choices. They each look different too.
I grilled a Costco Wild Alaskan slamon burger with tamari & garlic.
Medley of summer squash/red onion sauteed in chicken broth, evoo, tiny bit of walnut oil, herbs. Steamed bok choy.
