Roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts, broiled corn on the cob, bbq tofu, steamed broccolini, fried polenta. For dessert I had raspberries and blueberries with honey and 2 squares of dark chocolate. I was VERY hungry, about a -4. Its TOM and I cant seem to get full I ended around a +2.

How'd you get to be so hungry Dotti? Do you try to find food earlier when you first start getting hungry? Or take some food with you to prevent serious hunger?

anyway me i've messed up a bit this afternoon too.

I got hungry earlier at around 3pm and ate something but i'm going to list it in my snack report.

So then when dinner time came, i wasn't hungry at all but because i had started cooking and wanted to work out what to do with my lima beans, i ended up cooking something with them and felt i should eat at that. It wasn't even what i started cooking for dinner. Garh, what a mess i was in this afternoon around food. Nevermind it will keep until tomorrow and as i'm full now, I probably won't end up overeating.

So dinner at 6.30pm

Hunger rating 0
1 egg omelette, a dash of milk, 1/2 cup lima beans, bit of kale, garlic and oil
+3

So what i thought i would do with my lima beans that were meant for my vegie curry was first to cook them up with some olive oil and garlic and kale. I was just working this out as i went along.

After that i blended them up.
then i took some out and put an egg in and ended up making an omelette with that but i realised that turning them into a sort of pattie which i will try tomorrow.

Thanks, Pattience--the scale is SOOO helpful to me. I highly recommend! I am noticing a whole 'new' set of sensations in my body. I'm actually not as hungry as I think I am most of the time. Feeling satisfied is pleasant. For someone like me who typically thinks she needs to be full, that is so liberating.

Dinner was split into 2 parts yesterday because of dinnertime yoga class. Before class, 4pm, I ate a green salad [shredded carrots, shredded raw beets, romaine, arugula, red onion, cherry tomatoes], HB eggs, EVOO &
balsamic

After class, 730p 1/2 C canned kidney beans, steamed baby bok choy, whey shake. I try not to eat this late, but the class was worth it.

I can't recall my hunger/satiety levels in hindsight. Mostly the eating was to avoid extreme hunger since MFP told me calories were way low & didn't want to wake up 2am with low blood sugar.

I over ate.

I had a turkey mushroom burger on a roll, a crab cake, mac and cheese and roasted zucchini. I am stuffed!

pattience-I really think the hunger was just bc of my period and from all the exercise lately. During this time of the month sometimes it feels like no amount of food is enough

Dinner was a cup of chocolate soy milk.

Tonight I was feeling a -1 and ended at +2. I'm still pretty full from the big lunch and really just wanted something small and was surprised how much that filled me up. Its weird bc so many people say that drinking their calories doesn't fill them up, but I've found liquids to be very filling. Interesting.

Mars, good to know you are finding it useful.

Dotti I was just reading that about liquid calories not begin so filling myself. Its not something i really bother about. I don't tend to drink my calories anyway.

I think i can tend to feel a bit hungrier at that time too. But not always, only if its a stronger period.

GUESS WHAT EVERYONE! I went for a run this afternoon!! I haven't been for a month so i'm happy. It made me feel good too. I really want to run in (and win) a 10km race at the end of the year. The prize last year, which my sister one, was 5 nights accommodation in a local top resort. I really want to win it because i never get to stay in nice hotels ever. For some stupid reason, i've got it into my head that's it is possible for me to win this race. My reasoning is that all the really good runners will go in the longer races. But of course when i start getting fixated on a thing like that, it tends not to come to fruition but i am going to have fun trying. I just hope i can keep my motivation alive until then so that i can get fit enough. I'm actually not a really good runner but then neither is my sister.

So today i ran 2.5 miles around my local streets which include some hills. I ran 3 minutes and walked one for recovery. I want to go about three times a week until the race in November. The race is 10km or about 6.5 miles.

-2
DINNER 6.30pm bit later than usual but all my meals have been later today.
1/2 cup rice
1.5 cups massaman vegetable curry
+2

Munchy, you are always saying you are lazy but your meals don't sound lazy at all to me. You are too tough on yourself. All i had to do for my dinner tonight was get it out of the fridge put it on the plate and microwave it. Oh and steam the kale. But i don't feel lazy.

DINNER AT 6.30PM

-3
1 cup rice
1.5 cups thai yellow vegetable curry with lemon juice
1 cup rice
1.5 cups kale, steamed then with a little sour cream and lots of lemon juice, salt and pepper - this was yummy and i didn't eat up all the sour cream in the dish.
I knew this was too much food and so i had 1/4 cup curry leftover - pleased with myself for stopping before eating it all even though it was yummy.
coffee milk still to come.

+3

Salad, pork ribs, black bean and corn salad, and asparagus. Had my parents over for dinner. Dessert of a brownie and ice cream as well. Whew. So much food but I enjoyed it!
