Recommend popcorn popper

  • I want to purchase a hot air popcorn popper and one that is easy to clean. Can you help me? Thanks!
  • I make popcorn in my microwave. Brown paper lunch sack, 2 tbsps of unpopped kernels, a spritz of olive oil, fold over the bag to close it at the top and hit the popcorn button on the microwave.
  • I use a clear glass pyrex bowl with a lid. Leave the lid just ever so slightly ajar. Perfect popcorn every time. Just wipe it out or rinse it. Easy.
  • Awesome, thank you!
  • Now I'm craving popcorn!
  • I used the paper bag way to make popcorn in microwave for awhile. Worked fine most the time, sometimes burned or didn't pop enough, or bag opened and got popcorn all over in the microwave.

I bought a Presto popper (amazon deal for $14)... pretty big difference, no burnt popcorn, almost all kernels pop nice and fluffy... I think it was worth it, little more effort than the paperbag way but popcorn comes out better. still cheaper in the long run than boxed microwave popcorn, and the chips and crackers the popcorn replaces for snacks.
