Default Peaches!

What fresh healthy food do you love?

We went down to Lancaster, CA, today to get peaches from an orchard. They have got to be the best peaches I have ever had. I am so grateful to the food gods that there are peaches and they don't have a lot of calories.

Also got a few figs and some Apricots. Love figs.

Here in my part of the southwestern desert, it was 117* near here and 109* at our house. We are at 3500 feet, so just a bit less hot.

Strawberries, watermelon, cucumbers, squash, corn and something I didn't know until this time around and finally tried and loved- fresh blueberries! Those are the ones I can think of at the moment.

Peaches! Yummy! Just ate one not too long ago.

I love munching on hearts of palm and pickles, but I think my favorite thing to eat are the roasted red peppers I make. I'm always eating them with eggs in the morning or on my salads at lunch or dinner. I LOVE making them on the grill in the warmer weather

I love peaches too. They are my favorite fruit. I also love cantaloupe this time of year too, and nectarines. Good apricots and plums are hard to find but I like them in the summer too.

And salmon all year round! Yummy. And Chilean sea bass.
