Biscoff spread = cookies blended up and sold in a jar
Nutella spread = candy bar spread
Neither of which are remotely healthy.

If you want a healthier version of Nutella, there is Jason's hazelnut chocolate spread. I bought it once and was able to control myself to 1 tbsp per night by itself.

Anyhoo....my son's girlfriend is allergic to peanuts. I replaced the peanut butter in my PB cookie recipe with Nutella and oh. Good. Lord. I think you can imagine how good they were. That was definitely a mistake, LOL!!

Uh oh, so Nutella is good?

Uh oh. I will look for Jason's hazelnut. Jif makes a hazel nut spread. I wonder if that is healthy?

The Jif is as bad as Nutella.

If you look for Jason's, again it is slightly healthier and should really be considered a treat. I mean, anything adding chocolate and sugar to a nut spread should be a treat

I'm personally very cautious about any nut spreads and although I add PB into my protein shakes sometimes, I weigh out the exact amount in order to not go over calories.

I personally don't like added sugar in peanut butter. It basically looks like they bulk it up with wheat germ. I just use the ones that have peanuts only.

Some health food stores actually have grinders where they will grind the peanuts there for you.

I avoid nut spreads usually myself. So many calories/fat in such a small amount. I do indulge in a PB&J every once in a while, though.
