If you have a juicer you could make your own juice.
I compost so the left over parts aren't trash, we also have chickens, they like to pick at the rinds and peels of stuff like that, too.

I love to eat it like an orange and peel the membrane, it seems decadent, I don't know why...I remember growing up my mom had a really thin serated knife that could bend around in the grapefruit and cut the fruit away from the peel, she also had a spoon that had a little serrated part at the end for getting the pieces out.

I think I might have to go get some grapefruit!

I can't imagine how good it must be in Texas when it's in season, how great!

had to add- like an orange. i eat TONNES of grapefruit.

for those that find it bitter- my trick is to buy a big bag, and leave them on top of the fridge for about a week- this makes them super ripe, but you have to watch out for any that are already super ripe so that they don't go bad!!
