Default Ah!! My new obsession.. Bento boxes!!

So I was bored doing my morning ritual... >.> hah and I was looking up cute sushi... Then I stubbled upon bento boxes. Abs I thought how cute and honestly they just make me smile!! How lovely to sit down and open your lunch and have a cute sandwich or flower looking back at you, yes it would take some preperation and effort but if you're going to pack your lunch may as well do it with something cute. It's just adorable and I wanted to share, eeee makes me squeal cause of the cuteness

I like them because of the natural portion control. I also think it makes you more thoughtful about the experience of eating. You tend not to just wolf down a flower carrot or a smiling egg You can also get adorable little plastic sauce containers - usually in the shape of a fish or a pig to bring along some soy or other thin sauce. They have a tiny screw top.

So pretty! I like the idea, but I can't find a bento set that will hold the gigantic salad that I eat for lunch. They would definitely be good for portion control. Maybe that's why, in general, Japanese people are not as overweight as Americans. I've seen those little soy sauce bottles. Very cute.

I just bought an adorable bento style lunch set from Lock & Lock. It should be getting in tomorrow or the day after. I can't wait to try them out. I was trying to find something that would help out with portion control during my lunches for school and the bento style really caught my attention.
